I've been working on this miniature alongside my current large project. I could've had this done in a week, probably, but I've been pressuring myself to put in more hours on the large painting than the mini. This one is on 140lb hot press paper. I'm aiming to be a bit looser and I want to really capture the mottled ruddy skin tone of a newborn baby. The background will be gold leaf.
